Where home looks like 75 acres of heaven…
Our story
Dornbusch Farms began when Ferd Dornbusch, a second-generation American, purchased 300 acres of farm and woodland in the Ohio River Valley as a weekend retreat and prime rabbit hunting location. After his passing, the farm was passed down to his children, and the 75 acres now known as Dornbusch Farms were established.
The farm has been in the family for three generations, with the fifth generation of future farmers already present. The current owner, Christopher Dornbusch Jr., took over in the early 2000s, transforming the land into a thriving farm and garden with his wife, Jennifer. Their dedication to sustainable agriculture and ethical livestock care has ensured the farm's success.
Today, Dornbusch Farms is managed by Jennifer Dornbusch and her daughter, Hailey. The farm continues to be family-owned and operated, encompassing products and services within the areas of food, furniture, fashion, farming, and fun.
